Cards to the Chest

It is wonderful to share our ideas, plans, and dreams with people. It helps others understand and appreciate who we are and helps to strengthen bonds of relationship. There are, however, also times when it is more helpful not to share. Have you ever been so excited about a plan or an idea that you just had to share it with anyone who was willing to listen?

Of those times, have you ever regretted sharing because people started asking questions you weren’t ready to answer, and you started to feel embarrassed or flustered? Or perhaps they started to pick your plan or idea apart and criticized it, and you felt your confidence drain out of you? There are so many reasons why it may be best to keep our cards close to our chests until we are really ready to show them to the world.

This week’s spread takes an in depth look at that. It’s a rough ride, so prepare yourself.
