Tightrope

Those who wish to live an intentional life know that our emotions are our guides. They indicate how open we are to moving with the powerful flow of intention or not. The more positive the emotion the more open we are and the more negative the emotion, the more we are pinching ourselves off from our own power. We also recognize that our emotions will always be in a state of flux. We will dip down and rise up frequently during the course of even one day. The question is how far we are willing to drop before we find a way to lift ourselves up again.

Frankly, while we may sometimes wish we could always stay at the tippy top of the emotional scale, dips in emotion are not only expected but, in the long run, beneficial. And yet, even the most experienced of us can sometimes feel like we are walking a tightrope between emotional peaks flirting with the “danger” of dropping down to old pits of negative emotion. That feeling of walking the tightrope is in and of itself an indication that we have already begun reducing our own access to our own power.

In this video, we’ll explore that tightrope.
